Learn the Foundations of the Enneagram
This level will provide serious students of the Enneagram with the foundational information necessary to be able to teach the Enneagram system from the perspective of Claudio Naranjo and the validated research of Sterlin Mosley, Aaron Addonizio, and their teacher and mentor Katherine Fauvre. This level of certification is perfect for any student of the Enneagram who wishes to delve deeper into the intricacies of the system and the complexities of the nine types.
Level 1 will move students into a stronger understanding of the dynamic nature of the system itself and provide a contextual history of how the system and the types themselves have evolved since the 1960s. Level 1 will teach important concepts such as the lines of connection, wing theory, the three instinctual types and Enneagram Trifix theory (the idea that we have one type in each center). This training level will adequately prepare students to teach the Enneagram with a deeper level of confidence and understanding and prepare students for the deeper and more intricate material presented in Level 2 and 3. In addition to over 18 hours of training materials, participants will have the opportunity to explore their own type, Trifix and instinctual stacking in a 1-on-1 typing session and follow up coaching session to apply their learning to themselves. Successful completion of a “final exam” will be required for certification.
*Note that Level I Certification is a basic level certification and that to qualify for the title of “Teacher” a Level II teaching certification must be completed after demonstrating competency of Level 1 concepts.

LEVEL I ENNEAGRAM CURRICULUM:
Part I: Understanding The System (Centers, History, Lines, Wings) - 3 Hours
This live virtual 2-hour required foundation course will provide students with a thorough roadmap for how to understand the Enneagram in the context of its history and its conceptualization by Oscar Ichazo as a “trialectic” and dynamic system based on the universal Law of Three and the Law of Seven. Additionally, this course will explain the centers of intelligence, lines of connection, wings, and the Enneagram Trifix theory.
Part II: Deeper into the Centers/The 9 Types- 10 Hours
These live classes are recorded so students can watch on their own time. This class will break down the 3 centers of the Enneagram in greater detail providing a rich understanding of each center as conceptualized by Oscar Ichazo and Claudio Naranjo. Each centers class will then provide an advanced description of each of the nine types and exemplars for each type. Each centers class is 3-hours and will be presented in recorded videos with exercises for reflection.

Part III: Introduction to Instinctual Types -3 Hours
The instinctual types of the Enneagram personality model is an integral part of understanding the Enneagram system overall. This video course discusses each of the three instinctual types; social, self preservation, and sexual types in greater detail. Students will learn how each instinct presents itself in the human condition and how to recognize the instinctual types in ourselves and others.
Part IV: Introduction to Enneagram Trifix Theory-3 Hours
Trifix, in the Enneagram system, is the theory to describe the use of one type in each center of intelligence; the head, the heart, and the gut. Understanding our main type is important in our journey to self-discovery but we must also understand how the other two types interact to create our Trifix Archetype. This video explains the Trifix theory and how to understand and work with Trifix in addition to outlining the 27 Trifix Archetypes.
Part V: Q&A & Program Completion
We include an optional 1-hour Q&A session for all level I students!
To finish the process, we will issue an official certificate stating your completion in level I of the program!

Hi, we’re Sterlin Mosley Ph.D and Aaron Addonizio M.H.R, M.P.A.
We’ve been studying the enneagram for 21 years. First attending Enneagram courses from Tom Condon, Russ Hudson, Helen Palmer, David Daniels and others and then we began attending Enneagram conferences in 2007 where we met Katherine Fauvre. Sterlin became Katherine’s protégé around the same time and began doing bi-weekly one-on-one coaching to further his understanding of both the Enneagram and his own processes.
In our Master’s in Counseling program, Sterlin and Aaron researched the enneagram personality types, psychopathology and diagnosis, which took us deeper into the work of Claudio Naranjo’s.
From there, we started our first Enneagram business in 2008 where we delivered trainings to counselors and psychotherapists for CEU credits and then began delivering online trainings and classes the same year.
In 2014, we both became certified teachers and coaches with Katherine Fauvre of Katherine Fauvre Consulting. Sterlin completed his PhD in Communication from the University of Oklahoma in 2014 where he conducted several studies on the Enneagram, self-presentation and intrapersonal communication.
Until 2021, Aaron worked for several years as Katherine Fauvre’s office manager. In addition to Aaron’s professional counseling education she received a Master’s in Public Administration in Nonprofit Management.
In addition to Empathy Architects, which we founded in 2019 Sterlin is an Assistant Professor at The University of Oklahoma where he teaches various courses in the Human Relations and Women’s and Gender Studies departments. Sterlin teaches an undergraduate level course on Personality (which is essentially a semester-long course on the Enneagram and other systems such as MBTI, the Big Five, Jungian Archetypes, multiple intelligences, microexpressions, etc). Together, we have delivered countless trainings, workshops and courses.
We both share a love of systems and have a particular aptitude for synthesizing those systems in order to foster greater self and other awareness with the aim of creating greater compassion and empathy for everyone.
